Abdominal pain

Abdominal pain can cause rare complications, therefore it requires immediate attention!

Persistent pain

• Persistent or sever pain is continuously present the entire time and significantly affecting your quality of life, and may prevent you from eating/ drinking.
• In case of persistent severe abdominal pain, attend A&E as soon as possible to exclude rare complications. 
• Take no further doses of the medication until review
• Alert us at [e-mail]. and a member from our clinical team will call within 24 hours

Intermittent pain

• Intermittent pain is not present continuously and it allows you to continue with everyday activities along with tolerating fluids and diet
• Take no further doses of the medication until review
• Alert us at [e-mail]. and a member from our clinical team will call within 24 hours 
• If symptoms get worse, attend your GP or A&E as soon as possible.
