Abdominal pain can cause rare complications, therefore it requires immediate attention!
Persistent pain
- Persistent or sever pain is continuously present the entire time and significantly affecting your quality of life, and may prevent you from eating/ drinking.
- In case of persistent severe abdominal pain, attend A&E as soon as possible to exclude rare complications.
- Take no further doses of the medication until review
- Alert us at support@beyondbmi.ie. and a member from our clinical team will call within 24 hours
Intermittent pain
- Intermittent pain is not present continuously and it allows you to continue with everyday activities along with tolerating fluids and diet
- Take no further doses of the medication until review
- Alert us at support@beyondbmi.ie. and a member from our clinical team will call within 24 hours
- If symptoms get worse, attend your GP or A&E as soon as possible.
